Regular Season Round 17: Cernusco - IBAM 100-81

Very predictable result when sixteenth ranked ItalianCernusco (5-3) rolled over 42th ranked German IBAM (3-5) 100-81 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Cernusco. IBAM managed to win third quarter 18-17 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cernusco forced 24 IBAM turnovers. Strangely IBAM outrebounded Cernusco 55-35 including a 25-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cernusco looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Luca Iriti nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Jacopo Bosi accounted for 22 points. Nikolozi Janelidze came up with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Oluwadarasimi Fagbamila added 16 points and 13 rebounds respectively for IBAM in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Cernusco went down to twenty first position due to points difference, which they share with 6 other teams. IBAM lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Karlovka and HNMKY.
